High Trails works with Colorado College to offer a Specialized Interest Internship for CC Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) students. These students, as part of their MAT coursework, will be placed at High Trails as Outdoor Education Instructors during the spring season. They will experience the flexibility of teaching in the outdoor classroom while practicing the unique High Trails role-playing curriculum. After completing their internship, students return to Colorado College to finish the MAT program, and will be eligible to earn a Masters Degree and initial teaching license for the state of Colorado.
