Suggested Packing List
This packing list was created with our weather at 8,500' in mind - lots of layers will help keep you comfortable while you're up here at High Trails. Individual schools may have further suggestions.
Please pack with your participating student so that they know what they have with them and where it is!
water bottle (important for adequate hydration during activity at elevation)
sleeping bag or two sheets and two warm blankets
pillow case (pillows are provided)
flashlight or headlamp
warm coat or parka
warm sweater or fleece (in addition to a warm coat)
rain jacket or poncho (waterproof!)
waterproof boots (optimal) or hiking boots
another pair of shoes (comfortable)
day pack (school backpack)
warm gloves or mittens
warm hat
sun hat (with brim)
sunscreen
two pairs of pants
several shirts
